Revere Copper

Electrical

Copper’s high electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and solderability make it the best choice for electrical applications.

C11000 Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper is used for welding fixtures, anodes, bus bar in electrical power installations, ground straps, commutators and current-carrying hardware. Its inherent fabrication qualities readily permit it to be bent, soldered, drilled, peened, riveted and formed to fit almost any design specification.

Current flows easily through copper thanks to its small electrical resistance without much loss of energy making it a perfect choice for:

  • Power distribution – electrical power delivery utilizing strip, plate, bar, and coil
  • Electrical switchgear and components – disrupts and channels electric flow in manufacturing processes, gas & oil and power grids
  • Transformers – step up (to increase power) and step down (to decrease power) in electrical applications and processes.
